Tēnā koe, I'm Anna.

I am a registered psychotherapist, supervisor and educator, living and working in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa | Auckland, New Zealand.

As a psychotherapist, I offer therapy services in Auckland and aim to provide a safe space to explore what is going on for you, supporting you and working towards positive and lasting change in your life.

As a supervisor and educator, I help others to explore their professional and clinical perspectives, with a focus to grow responsive and accessible health care practice in Aotearoa and beyond.

He whakataukī

Ma te rongo, ka mohio;
Ma te mohio, ka marama;
Ma te marama, ka matau;
Ma te matau, ka ora.

A proverb

From listening comes knowledge;
From knowledge comes understanding;
From understanding comes wisdom;
From wisdom comes well-being.

Therapy

Do you feel stuck or unsure of how things are going in your life? Through therapy, I help you identify goals, create a plan to achieve them, and provide ongoing support and guidance along the way.

Supervision

As a practitioner with whakapapa Māori, I have a particular interest in providing guidance to other practitioners who may be working with Māori and need further support.

Training

I offer guidance to clinicians and professionals to improve their work with clients. My work explores relationships, attachment, trauma and therapeutic care, often with indigenous perspectives woven throughout.

Publications

In addition to my clinical practice, I am frequently featured in and contribute to academic articles in the field of indigenous therapy and therapeutic techniques.
